Nesellium is a rare Allegiance-based energy source used to power Supergate in the Outlands. Nesellium can be bought from a faction's HQ for 5 faction marks per nesellium once 17 nodes have been claimed for that faction. It can also be gained from Outlands Encounters at the rate of 1 Nesellium per encounter. Nesellium Generators can be bought from Gemini's Breach (a Supergate) for $100,000,000. They work like normal Facilities except they are in the Outlands, and do not start with one Facility Point (FP). When bought, they produce one Nesellium per hour, with one storage.

Nesellium is often shortened to Ness. Nesellium is a highly valued energy source, however in 4.0 Nesellium as of right now serves no purpose. Nesellium is used in alien technology as a primary way for space travel. It has been somewhat suggested in a mission that Suros has Nesellium on par with give or take 10,000 energy cells.
