|task=File Organization & Licensing
|desc=Organizing all image files uploaded to the wiki directory by categorizing and applying the correct licensing on relevant files.
|guidance=There are alot of uncategorized and unlicensed image files that need to be sorted and licensed to make things much cleaner and easier to find. There will also be once this project is done, a new directory which will provide the ability to search specific categories to locate images much faster.
# Visit: [[Special:UncategorizedFiles]] and [[:Category:Missing license subject]] then pick an image file to begin.
# Read the documentation of [[Template:License]]
# View both [[:File:Neptune_main.jpg]] and [[:File:Freighter token.png]], edit the source to get a finished example to see how it work in action.
# Make sure to document which images you have personally categorized and licensed so admins know how best to reward you. Admins will need to see the list of all the images you have done so make to write them down or keep track of your progress on your personal userpage.
# If you need help, you can contact the helper for this task in Discord, by pinging <code>oswf-helper</code> role.

|task = Reworking patch note pages to the new format.
|desc = With the new format for the Patch Note pages, All the current patch note pages need to be redone.
|guidance = To start this task, Navigate to [[Update:Patch_Notes_(2_February_2020)|this page]], and view its source. The new format is the {{t|Patch Notes}} template and also the ''context'' div box for the patch notes message. At the bottom of the page is the correct categorization. Note that patch notes from 2019 need to be categorized to 2019 and so on, this will categorize them correctly by year so it shows up automatically on [[2020]] page where all all the patch notes will be sorted chronologically by day and month automatically using a DPL. Be sure to also watch for the title of the page, Banri modified the code that runs this wiki to be able to hide the ''Update:'' namespace so the page only reads '''Patch Notes: (date)'''. You will also notice that the date is grey and abit smaller, this was the intended goal when hiding the namespace. If after submitting the final change with the patch notes template included and the namespace is still there...force it to hide by using {{t|Display title}}.

|desc = Browsing the wiki needs to be smooth for users coming to the wiki for answers to questions or to browse what type of content Gemini Station has. Ensuring that they get to the destination their searching for is majorly important.

To start this task, follow the steps below:
# Familiarize yourself with how Redirecting works by reading the guide [[GSWiki:Redirecting|here]].
# Familiarize yourself with how Disambiguation works by reading the guide [[GSWiki:Disambiguation|here]], and also the template documentation linked on the page.
# Read the documentation of [[Template:Shortcut]]. This template works with shortened names and abbreviated for redirects on the wiki.
# Every page the wiki needs some form of redirect or disambiguation, this ensures users are getting to the right pages they are searching for.
Note: It can also help to keep track of the [[Special:RecentChanges]] page to see if new pages by Noresist are made, or by other users and check to see if it needs shortcuts, redirects and other forms of formatting.

|task = Add the patch notes from different updates to relevant pages
|desc = One of our newest (and most ambitious) projects is to document information about how game updates have affected content over time. Some editors are currently working through old patch notes and copying them on to pages of content that was affected by each patch.
|guidance = This information is organised chronologically in a new section called "Update history" which is being added to pages. You can help by doing this for the patch notes listed below. There is a project page which explains how to add in a new patch note [[GSWiki:Maintenance/Update history|here]].

|desc = Adding TemplateData to all templates which are missing TemplateData.
|guidance =
Instructions:
Each and every template on this wiki must be made ready for Visual Editor which will be coming soon as Mediawiki itself fixes the bug that causes it to stop working on pages which already were made. Currently as of 10.09.2020, Noresist and I tested the Visual Editor and it works only on new pages being created and not existing ones, so we will need to wait until its patched. During this time, we can start adding TemplateData to all existing templates.
To start this task, visit [[User:Banri/TemplateData|this page]] to see a tutorial on how to go about adding the TemplateData. There is also a link there to all templates which are missing said TemplateData. That page does not need to be checked off when you finish with one, because the list is generated by a dynamic page list (or DPL) from the DynamicPageList3 Extension.

|desc =
There are many pages on the wiki currently that are missing categories, categories that are incorrect and also pages with old categories which do not line up with the new category tree. (You can find this new tree on the sidebar called: '''Wiki Index''')
|guidance =
To get started with this task, there are two paths but both need to be done.
# '''Old categories''' - You can find this by going to the old category tree, [[:Category:Gemini Station]], which needs to be deleted after its emptied. When it is empty, label the page with [[Template:Rfd]] so those with page deletion permissions can find it easily on the maintenance page. (Those with deletion permissions such as moderators and custodians can skip the labeling). Each page in the old categories need to be adjusted to the new category tree.
# '''Pages missing categories''' - Navigate to [[Special:UncategorizedPages]], [[Special:UncategorizedTemplates]] and [[Special:UncategorizedFiles]] to find the pages, templates and files that are missing categories and sort them using your best judgement with the new category tree. If you are confused or stuck, you can always ask for help.

|title=Farming Plant Pages
|title = Attributes
|helper=[[User:Elessar2|Elessar2]]
|helper = {{User|Siege Heart}}
|img=Mango detail.png
|img = Earth Icon.png
|task=Create or substantially improve the pages for 15 plants.
|task = Adding all the attribute pages onto the Wiki or updating them.
|desc=The wiki is currently missing pages for most plants (the scenery objects of Farming produce) and we are looking for help creating them! These pages can be created by anyone and don't require in game actions to create.
|desc = Update all the attribute pages to include as much information as possible; including any math involved with the attribute.
|guidance= These pages should be under the in game object name when possible, the table bellow contains the needed pages with the correct page names.
|guidance =

Instructions:
Page should include {{t|Infobox interactive scenery}} followed by a short text on which patch they grow in, how many seeds are needed, the level required and similar information. The id's as well as the in game name can be found in the [https://chisel.weirdgloop.org/gazproj/mrod MROD Database] search for plant using it's name or a part of the name, preceded and suceeded by a <code>/</code>. For example <code>/strawberry/</code>. The infobox versions should be split, as in the [[Strawberry plant|example]] into ''Seed'' (just been planted), ''Seed (w)'' (just planted and watered), ''Growing'' (growth stages), ''Growing (w)'' (watered), ''Diseased'', ''Dead'' and ''Grown'' (fully grown can be harvested). In the database these can be told appart by the actions listed, for all but seed and grown there should be one id per growth stage, minus the first (Seed) and final (grown) stage (for strawberry this means 5).
# Create missing attribute pages

# Update attributes with NavBoxes, information, and Table of Contents.
This should be followed by the {{t|Infobox Farming}} and then the growth stage image tables (both of which can be copied from the seed page). When copying the infobox please ensure that the <code><nowiki>|grown =</nowiki></code> parameter contains the correct link (the page you are creating) and the displayed text matches the in game name (this applies to the box on the seed page as well). Remeber to change the <code><nowiki>|name=</nowiki></code> parameter on the new page to match the in game name of the plant.

The bottom of the page should have the {{t|Seeds}} template, which is the navigation box.

'''See [[Strawberry plant]] for an example page.'''

|task=Update images of the growth stages for 5 different plants
|task = Creating unique pages for every ship.
|desc=Our images of plant growth stages are severely outdated. We are looking for players with a range of [[Farming]] levels who can capture images as their plants progress through different [[Farming#Growth cycles|growth cycles]].
|desc = Create all the ship pages to include as much information as possible; including stats and specific class restricted mods.
|guidance=[[:Category:Farming stage images]] contains all the images that we currently have - many plants have received graphical updates and all Farming patches were updated a while ago so nearly all the images need to be taken again. Simply put the plant into the patch and capture a new image each time that its appearance changes.
|guidance =

Instructions:
Some changes can be very small, so its important to capture images at the same patch and to use the same angle to show the differences between stages clearly. An example of good images can be found on the [[money tree]] page; and there is a guide on how to capture high quality images [[RuneScape:Editing/Taking images|here]].
# Create missing specific ship pages

# Update specific ship pages with NavBoxes, stats using the [[Template:Shipbox]], generalized information, mods that are class specific, and Table of Contents.
Waiting for plants to grow may take some time but you may be able to use [[Rapid Growth]] or [[ultra-growth potion]]s to skip through some stages.
# Use [[Light Freighter]] as the basis for the structure

'''It is strongly recommended to NOT use the magic wand tool as it will result in a poor transparency.'''
Instructions:
|guidance=We pride ourselves on having excellent quality images on the wiki. One of the things we do to achieve that is to remove distracting backgrounds from images, which we call adding transparency (or translucency for images that have particles or bloom effects). There are always plenty of images which require transparency or translucency to be added to them - they can be found in [[:Category:Images needing transparency]] and [[:Category:Images needing translucency]].

Transparency can be quite tricky to do at first, but we have a step-by-step guide on how to add it [[RuneScape:Editing/Image transparency|here]]. If you are not familiar with adding transparency to images, we recommend that you get feedback from other editors on your first attempts. It can take a few tries to edit transparency well. Please keep in mind that transparency must be done to a certain standard in order to qualify for this project. Some info on translucency can be found [[RuneScape:Images and media policy#Particle transparency and translucency|here]].

* The reward for completion of each task will be one bond. If multiple editors contribute to a finite goal then the prize may be split between them.
* You may also be awarded coins if you work on a goal but do not do the full amount of work required to earn a bond. The amount of coins will be equal to the percentage of the task being completed. You must do at least 25% of the total task to claim a reward.
* If you are awarded a bond or a share of a bond, you can get in contact with one of the project runners on Discord and claim it in game. Bonds are generally awarded by Jagex which may take up to two weeks, and they will appear directly in your [[currency pouch]].
* You can claim two bonds over each two week period that tasks are active.
