The Moon is a rare location that shows up ~~every quarter for one week~~. Thus, The Moon is only reachable ~~for 4 weeks out~~ of ~~the year~~. Upon visiting The Moon you will notice that you've arrived at the Mason Jays Memorial Lunar Research Complex. It is a station dedicated to a Martian metallurgist, [[Mason Jays]]; there is a memorial erected to his name as well.

Thus, The Moon is only reachable roughly once a month, with the exception of a blue moon or a no full moon month.(The reason is because a month is longer than a lunar cycle, resulting in months with 2 full moons and months with no full moon.) * When The Moon was first released there was a bug that didn't allow players to leave unless they had Direct Travel from Gemini Supply Crates.

* If you are on The Moon and The Moon closes, you are not able to access the store, but you are able to leave The Moon. This is likely due to players afking on The Moon to not get stuck for 28 days.

* Salvaging is possible on The Moon.(as of 2/27/21 The Moon is out of items to salvage)

* There was a bug in The Moon space lane where items were not removed. This resulted in some strange cases where you could salvage the same item over and over without the item's removal.

* The dockmaster still gets cranky at you if you dump stuff on The Moon.
