Encounters

Encounters are group combat events. One to three pilots face off against one to five NPC units. Encounters become available at level 5.

Actions

• Boost Shields - During an encounter, a pilot can boost another ally's shields.

Shield boost power varies based on ship type and class:

• Freighter
  • Light Freighter - 25
  • Medium Freighter - 50
  • Heavy Freighter - 100
• Fighter
  • Light Fighter - 10
  • Standard Fighter - 25
  • Assault Fighter - 50
• Scout
  • Recon Scout - 50
  • Support Scout - 100
  • Overwatch Scout - 200

Encounter: Martian Smugglers

We have detected several small fleets of smugglers from Mars. Most martians deal with the import taxes on their goods, but a few more nefarious pilots would rather make a run for it and try to bypass customs.
