So someone made you a signature. Now, how do you install it?
1. Copy the signature code to [[Template:Signatures/<insert name here>]]. Save the page. You should be able to see your signature on this page now.
2. Go to your preferences page.
3. Scroll down to the area labeled signatures
4. Ensure the Custom signature box is ticked.
5. Place the following text in the textbox there:
{{Signatures/<insert name here>}}
This will place your templated signature whenever you sign with ~~~~, if it exists. If it doesn't exist, it will create a nice fallback by placing simple links.
