Template:Transcript NPC invokes function main in Module:Dialogue list using Lua.

This is for transcripts to note which notable NPCs participate in the transcript.

Uses

This produces:

This transcript involves dialogue with Carter, N8, Suros, Cav, and the player.

To show an alternative text for an NPC, first enter the link then add the template for the pipe character {{!}} and then the alternative text as shown below:

This produces:

This transcript involves dialogue with Cav and the player.

To disable the player tag link use noplayer (not case sensitive) as one of the arguments.

The following information is used by extensions and applications, such as VisualEditor, to help users implement this template onto pages. Please ensure that it is up-to-date. This template is for quest transcripts to indicate which notable npcs participate in the quest's dialogue. It is not recommended that this is used in Visual Editor, as the template uses Lua to build the resulting text.
