Emoticons (or Smileys) are small faces which can be used in talkpages or userpages.
List of emoticons
There are currently 27 emoticons which can be used:

Usage
If you want to use an emoticon, simply add {{Name of the smiley}} in a sentence. For example, {{O.o}} would show up as .
Emoticons should not be used in mainspace articles. However, they can be used in the userpages, or on talk pages.
