MRG

The Martian Revolutionary Guard (MRG) formed as a splinter element of the Martian Congressional Republic Navy (MCRN). Bureaucratic inaction, declining morale, and rampant corruption led a handful of former MCRN officers to eschew the rank and file Martian military and take matters into their own hands. Plans were formed. Plots were hatched. Preparations were made. It was time.

MCRN never saw it coming when an entire squadron of their patrol vessels slipped into an Eris space lane and were never heard from again. On Eris, their IDs were scrambled and all traces of their previous government service erased. They were deeded new life as independently-owned ships with falsified records.

Shortly after, Mars found itself with a suspiciously familiar but impossible to identify new militia group: the Martian Revolutionary Guard. This intrepid band of patriots has dedicated itself wholly to the continued defense and prosperity of its beloved mother world. Where the MCRN failed, the MRG would succeed.

The Martian Revolutionary Guard continues to represent the best and brightest that Mars, no…that the entire system has to offer. The fiercest warriors, the craftiest hackers, and the shrewdest traders will all find good company here.
