Template:Missionreq/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Missionreq. It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Template:Missionreq invokes function main in Module:Missionreq using Lua.

Creates a list of required missions as list. Missions required for those listed will also be listed, as a sublist; and so on.

Usage

{{Missionreq|<missionname>}}

If lists are becoming too long, then the level of indentation can be limited with the second parameter.

With Limit

{{Missionreq|<missionname>|<limit>}}

For example, {{Missionreq|JayCo - A Brief History Part 2|1}} will only list the quests directly required:

Missions:
JayCo - A Brief History Part 2 JayCo - A Brief History Part 1…

{{Missionreq|JayCo - A Brief History Part 2|2}} will list the requirements directly required, and sublists of the ones directly required for those, but nothing further:

Missions:
JayCo - A Brief History Part 2 JayCo - A Brief History Part 1

No Limit

If you do not want to limit the sublists:

{{Missionreq|<missionname>}}

For example, {{Missionreq|JayCo - A Brief History Part 8}} will only list the missions directly required:

If a mission's requirements have been cut off, this will be denoted with ellipses (...). The default cut off is 9 levels.
