Overview

This station is dedicated to the work and sacrifice of Martian metallurgist, Mason Jays for his efforts in uncovering the Allegiance plot.

The Moon is a rare location that shows up right before the Full Moon and ends after the Full Moon. Thus, The Moon is only reachable roughly once a month, with the exception of a blue moon or a no full moon month.(The reason is because a month is longer than a lunar cycle, resulting in months with 2 full moons and months with no full moon.) Upon visiting The Moon you will notice that you've arrived at the Mason Jays Memorial Lunar Research Complex. It is a station dedicated to a Martian metallurgist, Mason Jays; there is a memorial erected to his name as well.

The Moon features a store that sells only Moon Rocks, a Mod Shop with exclusive lunar mods, and a memorial.

Upon visiting Mason Jays' memorial, the plaque reads:

This facility is dedicated to the late Martian scientist, Mason Jays. Mason's effort proved invaluable in discovering the existence of the Allegiance and their plot to wipe out mankind.

The Moon is one of the only locations that is not hackable. At its release it was possible, but was updated the next day.

Trivia

  • The Moon will not show up on your available locations to fly to unless you are on Gemini Station.
  • The Moon is the same distance from Gemini Station as Earth and Mars.
  • When The Moon was first released there was a bug that didn't allow players to leave unless they had Direct Travel from Gemini Supply Crates.

A connected space lane from Gemini Station to Earth's Moon will be open for that entire week. For that week, visitors are invited to browse the gift shop, purchase exclusive mods, and pay their respects to one of Mars' greatest heroes: Mason Jays.
