JayCo - A Brief History Pt.5 is the 5th mission of the JayCo mission series.

Overview

Official Description

Theodore was furious at Earth and Mars' unwillingness to help expand the economy. He believed that the introduction of helium in the economy was a win for the entire system, not an attempt to wrest economic control from the planets. But the actions of Earth and Mars' governments left him bitter and filled with resentment. As JayCo grew, so did their product offerings. Theodore's scientists discovered that a highly unstable gas called acetylene was effective in the construction of mods. Almost immediately upon this discovery, Suros, the director of the outpost on Eris contacted Theodore, and another trade route was established. JayCo's additional export was great news and easy money for upgraded freighters, but less easy money for scouts and fighters who turned to pillaging and hacking the acetylene tanks where they could find them.
