This is the documentation page for Template:Anchor.

When it is viewed directly, links using variables may appear broken; do not replace these with hardcoded page names or URLs.

The {{anchor}} template can be used to manually create an anchor on a page out of any given text. For example, using {{anchor|AAR}} on the jargon page will allow other pages to link to [[jargon#AAR|AAR]]; the link will immediately jump to the definition of "AAR".
