Space Moths are exactly what you think it is — a moth in space! It is speculated that Space Moths attack ships because they love to feed on the energy of your engines. The only interaction available is being able to trap Space Moths in a Space Moth Traps. In order to trap a Space Moth, you need to have a Space Moth Traps in your cargo space when it attacks. If you are attacked by a Space Moth you are greeted with two different messages dependent on having a Space Moth Traps in your cargo space:
If Successful
If Unsuccessful
If a Space Moth is caught in your Space Moth Traps, you can take it to Eris where it can be traded in for a Supercharged Energy Cell. As Supercharged Energy Cell are worth quite a hefty price on the Auction House, it is advised to place it in your warehouse as soon as possible.
