While in an encounter, a pilot can boost another player's shields instead of rolling for an attack.
The boost shield attribute modifies the ship's base shield boost amount. The base amount is increased by the total percentage of Shield Boost mods installed. This new number is the maximum amount of shield hit points that can be added to a boost ally's shields roll.
