There are just too many large updates to warrant an incremental update, so welcome to 2.3.0! There are two major game mechanics that have been added with 2.3.0. The first is: Trade Proposals. With trade proposals, pilots can trade/sell items directly to each other without having to use the Auction House.

The second major addition is player-owned facilities. Pilots can purchase item-producing facilities on Earth, Mars, Mercury, and Eris. Facilities can be upgraded to increase production rate, time, and storage limits.

Personally, I feel that this update represents a milestone in Gem’s progression. The new mechanics, additional content, and UI updates make the game feel more polished and substantial. But enough of that, enjoy 2.3.0!

* Pilots can now purchase their own farms, factories, mines, and collectors and start generating their own items.
* Facilities are available on Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Eris, and Mercury.
* Facilities cost $5,000,000 to purchase.
* Facilities generate 1 xp per item created.
