Ens. Crusher:

Space is a dangerous place. And the second to last thing I want is to see you leave the station and never come back. So, I’ve put this guide together to make sure you stay in once piece and keep moving cargo.

These are the basics, so when in doubt, stick to these and everything should be alright.

===Tip 1: Armor is your friend===
Your ship’s armor is the last line of defense between you and space. Or you and someone stealing your cargo. There are several mods out there that let you boost other ship systems and abilities at the expense of your armor. If you want to roll the dice and thin out your armor to squeeze a few extra units of cargo into your hold, that’s your call.
My advice? Don’t.

===Tip 2: You have Mods for a reason===
If you’re modded for trade runs, odds are you’re not going to be a terribly good pirate. Mods specialize your ship for specific roles. Granted there are a few mods that cover multiple specializations, but they’re more difficult to come by. If you’re a trader, load up on cargo, engine efficiency, and evasion mods and reach your destination as fast as you can. If you’re looking for a fight, install mods that will help you in a fight.

===Tip 3: Green is safe===
Your ship does not want to get wrecked, so to help you, it color-codes sensor results. Green means you can probably take them (If you’ve properly Tip 2’d). Yellow will be a challenge. And red is red for a reason.

===Tip 4: Stealth Mode===
I’m not talking about stealth tech––as far as you know, that doesn’t exist. I’m talking about is not drawing attention to yourself. If you drain another ship’s engines to shave off a few minutes from your journey, the pilot will know and it many cases will retaliate. Stay in your lane.

===Tip 5: Shield your goods===
At the end of the day, it’s all about cargo. Whether you’re buying it from vendors, stealing it from other players and transports, or finding it floating in space, your goal is to deliver your goods. I mention stealing it because some pilots out there would rather take your good from you than legally acquire it on their own. In the event another player attacks you and you lose, your cargo may be available to steal.

But there’s a catch!

Every ship has a stock cargo capacity. Freighters can hold 15 units, fighters can hold 10 units, and scouts can hold 5 units of cargo. Any cargo that is within your ship’s stock limit is safe from theft. But if you have a cargo mod that increases your cargo capacity by +5 and you’re attacked and defeated, up to 5 units of cargo is exposed and can be stolen.

But there’s a catch to the catch!

You can install mods that increase the amount of cargo that is shielded. If your freighter has a +5 cargo mod installed, and a +5 cargo shielding mod installed, none of your cargo can be stolen!

So make sure you’re expanding your cargo shielding as you expand your cargo capacity.

But we both know there are greedy meatbags out there who would rather tempt fate and max out their cargo capacity then hope for the best.

You know what I always say, if you hope for the best, you’re going to die alone in space. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever said that before…well, I’ll start saying it now.
==Guild==
When in a guild, there are multiple things that can be done such as; Wars, Warehouse Storage, Upgrades & Specializations. Guilds also have a max capacity per level.
{| class="wikitable"
| style="font-size:100%;" | 25 GP
|}

===Member Ranks===
Members of a guild can be promoted to various ranks by Guild Masters or Co-Leaders. The ranks, in order from low to high, are Rookie, Member, Veteran, Officer, and Co-Leader. The only ranks with special permissions are Officers and Co-Leaders. Officers have the ability to invite or kick any member (excluding the Guild Master), and can also purchase upgrades for the guild. Co-Leaders have all of the same permissions as Guild Masters (declare war, edit guild bio, invite/ kick members, purchase upgrades, etc.).

===Guild Points & Influence===
Guild Influence, or GI, is an action-based guild currency that is earned by guild members. Guild members who are draining, hacking, attacking, and boosting both NPC and player ships will earn 1 GI (per each action). The current GI will appear on your guild's News & Info page. If a guild wishes to declare war on another guild, the guild leader (or co-leaders) will have to spend Guild Influence to declare war on a guild. The thought behind this being, the defending guild would have no interest in a war from a guild they've never heard of, but if a guild has built up notoriety or influence, then a declared war would be taken seriously.

It currently requires 5,000 GI to declare a war on another guild and 50,000 GI to purchase a Guild Point.

'''Actions that award Guild Influence''':
* Hack NPC
* Hack PVP
* Drain PVP
* Drain
* NPC Boost
* PVP Boost
* NPC Win
* NPC Combat Win
* PVP Combat
* Initiate Travel
* Hack - Location - Cash
* Hack - Location - Goods
* Hack - Location - Int
* Hack - Location - Mods

===Warehouse===
The Warehouse is like the Guild Bank/Vault. Players will be able to store commodities there for future wars and or storing items they want to just give away to other players. It requires 1 Guild Point to unlock. Further Unlocks to increase storage space will require more GPs.

===Upgrades===
You can spend guild points to unlock guild-wide upgrades. There are currently 6 upgrades a guild can choose from, each having its own increase in ship efficiency. Prioritizing what to unlock will be determined by the guild and guild leaders/officers. Each upgrade has 10 available unlocks.

* Armor
* Engine Efficiency
* Evasion
* Sensor Results
* Shields
* Targeting
===Specialization===
With enough guild points, you can dedicate your guild to a specific specialization. Once you choose a specialization, your guild will only earn guild points for actions and wars in your specialization category. To unlock specialization, a guild will first need to gain 100,000 XP (100 Guild Wars). After that, there will be 3 branches to choose from; Military, Trade and Espionage. Each of the 3 branches has 7 different upgrades to choose from, all having a max of 10 unlocks.

<big>'''Military'''</big><br>

=='''The Game'''==
Centered around trade, piracy, and intrigue, Gemini Station allows you to customize and equip your ship by acquiring specialized mods that allow you to fine-tune your play style. As your ship gets more powerful, you’ll be able to complete more difficult missions, transport more cargo, hack more secure systems, and even turn on other players in attempt to steal their cargo.

You can play anytime online from any device. There’s no software to download, you just log in and keep playing. Gem is also a casual game, requiring no major commitment and was designed specifically to be fun without requiring a large investment of time.

You can play Gem however you want. As a sandbox-type game, you can be successful whatever your play style. You can focus exclusively on trade, combat, hacking, or salvaging and or any combination and be hugely successful.

There are a myriad of ways to make a living in Gem. Most pilots are honest traders, buying and selling goods from every sector of the system. Other pilots avoid the upfront cost of having to purchase goods and spend their time traveling the space lanes scanning for derelict cargo in space that can be scavenged. Some pilots take a more militant approach to increasing their wealth by taking it from others. While others still like to hide in the shadows, scanning and hacking ships for information, dealing in intelligence and intrigue.

=='''The Lore'''==
Gemini Station was constructed in 2709 to serve as central trade hub within the solar system.
With trade between Earth and the Mars colony finally normalizing following a bloody civil war, both locations wanted a neutral central location from which to conduct trade.

Shortly after the station’s completion, the Terran and Martian trade routes to Gem expanded to include Jupiter’s gas harvesting industry, Mercury’s solar farms, as well as the ice mines on distant Eris.

While Earth and Mars might not be at war anymore, they still hate each other. Mars doesn’t take kindly to pilots assisting Earth ships and vice versa. The Terrans are convinced Mars will attack them again, so they spend all available research and development into defensive ship mods. Mars, on the other hand continues to further their offensive mod research.

But when mysterious energy readings begin to appear throughout the system. Every faction must put aside their differences and work together to discover the source of this new threat.
